What is ADSL ?
ADSL stands for Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line. It shares the same phone line as the telephone service, but it uses a different part of the phone line's frequency and it does not interfere with normal phone service. ADSL offers customers a consistent, fast, and cost-effective way to optimize usage of the Internet and all its facets including multimedia and data.
ADSL technology uses the existing Ogero telephone copper wire line and targets residential, SMEs (Small to medium enterprises). It enables a near-permanent Internet connection, while leaving the telephone line available for inbound and outbound calls. Moreover, unlike dial-up, connecting to ADSL service will not add expenses on the customer telephone bill.
